Hi All

           My name is Heather, i am 59 years old, i have benn having ear problems for the past 2 years, the doctors sent me for a hearing test, and said all was ok, i have had lots of sore throats like everyone lasy year, i was seen by my GP on Friday as my ear pain was bad, he looked at the throat and asked how long it had been sore, i replied its always a little soere due to constant coughs and colds, i work in a care home so i pick up everthing.The GP got straight on the phone and gave me a referral letter to attend the maxilofacilal and oral clinic,,, such a shock he was so hard i did not digest what he was saying,,, he thinks it may be throat cancer,, like you all i am so so scared, i am worried about the test as  am so claustrophobic , does anyone know what the tests are for uregent throat  referral please.
