Hi My husband was diagnosed with aggressive prostarte cancer last october  with PSA 30 and gleeson of 9 he was started on hormon terapy straight away and now has the injection every 12 weeks his cancer has spread to lymph nodes seminal vesicl and the iliac...they have told us there is also suspicion it has spread to the bladder and bowel...he had a dexa scan last week and the results are he has osteoparosis... he also suffers with copd.We went to see the oncologist this week and she has told us chemo is not an option as she said his body wont cope with it...but  he coud have pallative radio therapy as no cure  but she feels that this will be his last option once the hormone therapy stops working which could be 2 to 3 years so feels that while he is coping waiting would be a better option for qaulity of life.....has anyone else been in this situation as now very worried his options and time are limited. thank you Trish
