Hi Beverly 123 I hope you manage your holiday my psa was lower than your husband it was 1580 & gleason 8 I have it in my lymph nodes, spine, ribs and pelvis after kemo it went right down its going up slowly know probably some more kemo end of year if you want to check on billygoat in prostate cancer and living with cancer I'm not to bad, but I'm looking after my disabled wife sometime it's a bit hard work. Hi, My father-in-law has the same thing. His PSA reached 1983 but is at 18 right now. This March is 3 1/2 years and he has been put through the ringer. At one point it was everywhere but the brain. He was given 6 months to live when he was first diagnosed by his family doctor but his oncologist was sure they could buy him 5 years. I was diagnosed  about a week after him with Follicular Lymphoma. We both started our treatments the same week in 2016 but I only had to go through chemo once followed by a long protein treatment program. He has been through 5 different types of Chemo treatments with hormone therapy as well. His longest chemo was like mine 6 months and shortest 3 months. He has a strong will to live and a great mind set. He is a retired veterinarian from Washington state. They sold their farm and moved to Arizona when he found out he had cancer. They are only about 15 minutes from a Mayo clinic where in Washington state he was 6 hours from one. It has helped but we live 2200 miles from each other so it makes seeing him hard. We saw him last summer and my wife is flying down for an 8 day stay the end of this month. We took our boys this past summer so she did not have any time with him alone so I made sure for X-mas I bought her a ticket for spring break to go visit him alone. They have a strange relationship but never the less I am making sure she gets time to spend with him. I wanted to say that it's a hard thing to give it 18 months or even 5 years like they have. Every story is different so hang in and try to enjoy the time you have. It's hard to do with that type of cancer but you will find your way. Prayers............Woody

Hi there thank you for your reply and sorry for the delay.  We are coping taking everyday as it comes.  Only 4 weeks now to our holiday so that is giving us momentum.  Hope you are ok.

Thank you for your reply and apologies for the time it has taken me to reply.  I am sorry about your father in law and your wife.  I know it is hard but we are positive and taking each day as it comes and filling our life with memories.
