So sore and scared for biopsy results

Hey I’m new here and just wanted someone to talk to. I’ve just come out of hospital after having laposcopy surgery for biopsy and looking at my ureter (the tube from my kidney to bladder). Is it normal to feel so sore, down and swollen? I’m petrified of my results too as I have a young child. Any help is much appreciated, thank you Nikki x

  • Hi Nikki and welcome to the forum.

    As it's been a couple of days since you had your laparoscopy I just thought I'd quickly stop by and see if you're feeling any better. Fingers crossed you are but if you feel things are not improving then it may be worth getting in touch with your doctor or your medical team to find out what can be done to help.

    Our cancer nurses are available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m if you want to have a chat with them about this next week and hopefully some of our members will be along soon to offer their support and advice as well.

    im more mobile today just very scared about the results. I’m not how they will be given to me but I’m going to ring tomorrow to see if they are in.

    it says they found a fibroid mass and have done a biopsy on my letter.

    its so horrible waiting and wondering , I really feel for everyone going through this xx
