Awaiting hysterectomy

hi ladies, just looking for some advice on how everyone deals with the menopause and the operation in general. I was diagnosed in 2013 with Breast cancer at the age of 34, had a lumpectomy. Then in 2014 I was told I had the brca 2 gene. I then underwent a double mastectomy and reconstruction the start of 2015. I found I recovered quite quick and returned to work after 4 weeks.

Now after a year of back and fourth they have discovered an 8cm mass growing in my Fallopian tube, I spent this Christmas in hospital in agony with the pain. I returned for my bloods two days ago to be told it’s definitely a tumour. They have recommended that I have a full hysterectomy, lymph nodes and possibly my appendix removed. I’m just wondering because I need to be cut open is the recovery gonna be tough? I’m not too bad coping with pain I’m just worried about my mental state of mind as I don’t have children and that’s devastated me. Is there any support groups up here in newcastle that ladies have found helpful?! Also what other coping methods have people used? I can’t have normal hrt because of the gene so just wondering about the holistic side of things and natural remedies?

wishing everyone a speedy recovery and sending positive thoughts, sarah
