Hi 

My mum has been really very sick too. Started with indigestion and constipation for over a year. The last 6weeks she has had chronic dihorreah and bloating stomach. She also has severe aneamia. And also a cholesterol problem. She hualost about two stone in 6 weeks. We have not yet got a diagnosis .but everything pointing to cancer. I'm so scared. She has ultrasound and endoscopys coming up. I can understand how scared you are what were the symptoms for your mum xx

I'm so sorry about your Mum too, it really is horrible... It's thanks to my Dad pushing her to see the Dr that potentially saved her, we never knew what she had until she went with a funny leg, turns out she'd had a small stroke then everything else came out. Do you know how soon her appointments are? Very soon i hope! Mum's waiting for CT scans to see if the Pallative Chemo is helping or not so fingers crossed! 

Would you like to keep in touch if that's not too weird to ask? It's just nice to be able to chat to someone in the same/similar position but if not i understand. xx

Hi im sorry about your mum :-(

My mum just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer she's terminal and I'm devastated. I work in the care industry and know only too well what we face. But that seems to make it harder. Its trying to be strong for them but crying inside that's how I feel at the moment. Xxxxxx

@fizzy dorito Hi, I'm new here as well im sorry about your family who's passed fighting this disease and much prayer to your mom who is fighting it now. If you dont mind discussing your dad's timeline of this horrible disease because my dad has been diagnosed with stomach cancer a few months ago but have been going back and forth to the doctor having tests done waiting to be cleared for surgery on Nov 29th. From recent Ct scan and PET scan it has not shown to have spread outside the stomach but he has been in so much pain and his left side of his lower back, hip and thigh pains him and lower left leg he says is numb....did your dad experience any of this?
