Dad with lung cancer

So my poor dad has been diagnosed with lung cancer he’s 80 and up until his hip replacement a few months ago was still playing golf a couple of times a week. He caught phomonia and now has this. Following his results of pet scan they have ruled out chemo. Apparently he may be able to take a drug subject to results from a hospital in the midlands which will take another 2 weeks.

any advice would be great I’m feeling pretty helpless as I’m in Cardiff and he’s in Essex with my mum.

Thanks in advance ...
