Hello Maxine and welcome.  Do tell us how things are for you.  Are you having treatment?  Do you have family and friends helping you - I would hate to think of you struggling through this alone.  If you look through the posts here you will find others either in a similar position themselves or partners and family who are caring for cancer patients.  Everyone here has been touched by cancer one way or another.   Please do talk with us about yourself.    Looking forward to  hearing more from you.  Annie

 I have stage 4 lung cancer, non small cell adenocarcinoma.

 I was diagnosed early June and just had my 5th immunotherapy treatment last week and at my last scan my tumour had shrunk to nearly half the size.

How are you? Are you having treatment?

my mom was given a terminal diagnosis last week, 

stage 4 lung cancer, which has spread to the lymph nodes in the chest and lymph node in her stomach.

she has been offered immunotherapy to extend her life, but my mom being a stubborn strong minded woman , has decided that she would rather decline treatment, and make the most of the time she has left, 

you said that your tumour has shrunk, is the treatment still having a positive effect ??

have you had any side effects ????
