I'm so sorry to hear this.  Chemo is a difficult treatment , our success rate was put at 7%, so very low, but my husband did halve his tumour, so it's hard to say who will respond well and who won't.   If he's made the decision to not go further with treatment then although hard for you, it's his wish.  I doubt we would do it again as quality of life is diminished a great deal.  Obviously you've married late in your relationship and this is not what you want.  Sending warmest w to you.  Carol 

Thank for your reply, sorry it's taken a while to respond but been through a rough few days. He's been and had his picc line removed today and referred to a community dietician due to weight loss again and Macmillan. I'm finding it really difficult to cope with the outcome of the chemo. We haven't  been given a prognosis but when he was first diagnosed he was given less than 12 months without treatment ... He's had treatment and it didn't work. Feel so helpless.

Dear Jobas I am so sorry for you and your husband. I married last year my husband and almost a year to the day had a diagnosis of early breast cancer. I can' imagine the pain and despair you are going through. Count each day you spend with him a blessing xx
