You've come to the right place to find support from others who have experience of tongue cancer as we have a lot of members on our forum who have been affected by tongue cancer. If you do a search on our forum using the keywords "tongue cancer" you will see how many threads we have had in the past on the subject and feel free to respond to any that may be relevant to you. Just to give you an example, you might be interested in reading this thread and [@BadGolfer]‍ may be a good person for you to chat with as he has been going through treatment recently and has had difficulties eating as well. I also noticed that [@Trai74]‍ ‍ on this thread whose mum was recently diagnosed with squamous carcinoma at her tongue base mentioned that she joined the forum in the hope of finding people who are going through something similar with a loved one so perhaps you two will want to connect? I hope you manage to get a little rest from time to time. There may be some good tips for you on our page for families, friends and caregivers to help you support someone with cancer but also to help you take care of yourself which I am sure you will agree can be easy to forget but is also very important.
