I think you should have the retest as scheduled. If you don't, you will probably worry the entire vacation, at least I know I would.  Besides, the results would not be available right away, anyway, would they? As far as the symptoms returning, I am no doctor but I know I had similar physical feelings after treatment that concerned me.  The oncologist was not concerned and told me my body was recovering and trying to regenerate after the chemo/radiation damage.  Try not to worry too much, enjoy your holiday.
