Hi there, kat, glad to hear from you again.  Did the doctors explain to you why they were considering employing brachytherapy?  I don't know a great deal about it other than what I have read; I understand it is giving radiotherapy from within your body.  Is this treatment to go alongside other treatment?  Please bear with my ignorance; perhaps others will have experience of this and be able to discuss it more intelligently than I can do.  Is there an effective alternative treatment that you can be given if you really don't want this?  Annie
