I had tonsil cancer for which I had laser surgery to remove right tonsil and affected areas, and a neck dissection to remove lymph glands on right side of neck and half my thyroid. Only one gland was affected, and the thyroid was clear.
This was followed up with 30 sessions of radiotherapy over 6 weeks that were completed on 11th May.
I saw my oncologist a few days ago and he was very happy with my progress. Weight has remained pretty stable, and I've been able to eat more over the last week or so.
