Hello Claire welcome on board. You will find some amazing people on here who have been though/going through or just starting out on this emotional rollercoaster that we are all join together on! 8 weeks ago I found a lump in my left breast, after a mammogram ultrasound scan and two biopsies was told it was inconclusive so had the lumps and margins taken out then yesterday was told it was all benign. It still hasn’t sunk in properly but the amount of support I have had from the ladies on here is wonderful. I am sure some will also come and say hello soon x

Think it’s hard to take in at moment because I am still uncomfortable from the operation which was two weeks ago today. I have another week off work so hoping for some sun. How are you feeling tonight? X 

Yea I remember how much pain you can be in it’s horrible, hopefully there will be a bit of sun! I’m ok thank you I think I will be now I’ve started talking about things, I don’t really feel comfortable telling family how I feel as don’t want to upset them! So being on here is definitely good x

Did your biopsy show what stage your cancer was at? I am delighted that you have had your first all clear. I agree that it is a worrying time when you have to wait until October for another mammogram.

I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer. The first was 8 years ago, when I had a lumpectomy, followed by Tamoxifen for 1 year. A year after the first bout I found a second and had a double mastectomy, followed by Letrozole .  I finished taking this last July.

Please let us know how you get on in October. In the meantime, we are always here for you.
