Hi David ... and welcome .... everyone is different, cancers are different, treatments are different... the one thing that is the same, is it can hit you when diagnosed ... or a while later and some when treatment is finished ... but l don't know anyone who hasn't gone through These feelings and emotions at one time or another ... it can hit you slowly, it just builds up... or something out of the blue ... 

It would take the real superman to not have any scary times ... but l think it's about going with the flow ... if you really feel o.k, go with it ... you want a scream, rant, go with it (as long as your not in a supermarket etc )  share feelings ... you can't be strong all the time, and it's no good crying all the time ... but if you can balance all those feelings out, and know it's normal ...

I have found if you can live in the day ... cope with today ... stop doing all the "what ifs" coz they feel overwhelming ... deal with everything as and when they pop up ... there's so many on here pushing the boundaries every day ... and all though they have low days, they get back on board ready to take this cancer on ... give it a run for its money ... 

Cancer wants you to crumble... and never feel positive again .. it wants you to just give in  ... well wer all here to show it, we will cope ... we will help each other through .. we will reach out to loved ones, and share tears, hugs, and if you can do all this, you'll still find things that make you smile ... you can do this ...  we are doing this every day ... it's not about winning or loosing this journey wer on ... it's about kicking cancers butt, right down the road ... don't let cancer change who you are ... so take care ...
