Hi there ... and welcome to our little chat room ...
I think we all go into shock in those early days, as it turns our world upside down ... l used to book holidays a year in advance ... now l look a couple of months ... you don't think about seeing young ones as they grow... now it's, will I see them grow ... l look at life totally different now ... I see so much wonder in the world around me ... l tell people I love them , more often ... l take every day as a bonus ....
Once the shock goes and you know what path your journey is taking , it's a tad easier... you can say, o.k I've got cancer, and I'm not going to let it change who I am ... I'll run with it , and take it on ... or just give up, coz that's what cancer wants us to do ...
Those feelings your having are so normal .. anger / tears / why me / feeling lost and confused ... it's all part of this journey we find our selfs on ... but there's lots on here who are pushing those boundaries... giving us all hope and the strength to go forward ... we can do this together ... there's lots on here who will help you through...
