Had a hysterectomy in september 2017 for what i believe was stage 1 cervical cancer but was never told about basal cell and when asking my consultant dont get no answers im now waiting to have a vulva biopsy done thanx for your reply
I am surprized that your consultant hasn't given you answers. It is good that your hysterectomy showed stage 1, cervical cancer.
Do you take someone with you to all of your consultations? This can be helpful, especially if your surgeon is body swerving some of your questions. The other thing that is useful to do before each appointment is to draw up a list of questions? I give my hubby a duplicate of these and, he writes down the answers whilst I am asking the questions. It is all too easy to forget to ask important questions or to forget what was said.
