First year of TCC of the kidney

diagnosed with cancer of left kidney one year ago today. 4 very little ops later, all key hole. Still get worried when I go for my next one in case its worse. Feel very lonely through experience although have large supportive family around me.  is it me?

    I'm sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with kidney cancer and that you have been feeling very lonely through the process even though you have a supportive family around you. This is something that many of our members can relate to and I hope you will be hearing very soon from them. Until then feel free to post as much as you need, here on Cancer Chat there is always someone to listen.

    I was diagnosed with a 2 inch renal cell carcinoma ten weeks ago. Been told I need the right kidney removed. Problem is my left kidney has very poor function and I will have to go on dialysis right away three times a week. Apparently it has been there for five years when I had a scan for another problem and was not investigated. It is D day on Tuesday and l have to tell the consultant wether I want to have it removed or not. Don't know what to do.
