Just to say hi to everyone. My name is Carol and I have been in treatment for a year now. It gets very hard and very lonely, so I am hoping it might help to join this chat site.
sorry missed your post so haven’t replied. I’m not too good, not coping well. . I’m very concerned. and feel shaky and nauseous. I’m such a worywort. How are you coping?
yes i have a very lovely husband and two very sensible children plus a very down to earth big sister. I’m so lucky. However we’ve had a very difficult six months which is making things much worse. My husband was in hospital three separate times with pneumonia and my elder brother passed away. I just don’t want to burden them with more grief.
I know it's easy for me to say, but please don't think of yourself as a burden. They all love you and will want to help you get through this, just as you would want to help them. I think it's wonderful that you all have each other to talk to and support each other. Please let them help you and comfort you, and never never give up. X
I'm just waiting for a definitive diagnosis and plan now things seem to change from day to day. I like to be in control so am finding it hard to do want I'm told x
