Hi

i was diagnosed with stage 111c ovarian cancer in August 2017. It came as a huge shock as I had been going back and forth to my GP for over a year with symptoms and had been seen by a gynaecologist 4 months prior. 

I had a full hysterectomy followed by 6 rounds of chemo. I’ve had 3 CT scans since surgery and all have been clear. I feel that I should be really pleased that chemo has ended and I am clear - all my family and friends are very happy.

I’ve been positive all through but I am finding this new stage much more difficult to adjust to. Has anyone experienced similar feelings?
