Liver cancer

Hi All,

My ex partner, father of my son has just been diagnosed with Liver Cancer which they think is secondary. We have been waiting 5 days for them to go in with cameras to find out how bad it is. He has a huge build up of fluid in his stomach. 

How long does it normally take to find out what kind of treatment plan may be available? I will be his carer so would really like to try and prepare for what's to come.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    My daughter in law has secondary liver cancer. Primary site thought to be pancreas it's in her stomach too

     She had a massive build up of fluid and last week 14 litres were drained off. As for treatment plan. We were quite quick. She started  chemo yesterday four weeks after diagnosis.  It's frustrating waiting for tests and results. Seem to spent every waking hour waiting In limbo.all you want is to know what the plan is. I know that. Hope the treatment plan starts soon. Take care.

    Thank you for your reply. He has had a lot of the fluid drained but not all of it. I'm hoping after the endoscopy on Monday we will know more.
