New

Hi

my name is June and my hubby was diagnosed with mesothelioma October 2017

Although 68 he was fit and healthy and still enjoyed working with our son and myself running our own family business

i am finding it so hard to watch him deteriorate and becoming weaker every day

I do find it so hard to watch him in so much pain

he is now eating very little or nothing but is still drinking water or orange squash

I am feeling so alone and helpless

i also worry how I will cope as we have been married 47 years

  • Hi june and welcome to our little chat room ... it is one of the hardest things youll have to go through in life ... cancer is cruel and shows no compation ... l hope yoy have close family around you at this time ... as there is no easy way through, and all those feelings your having is normal ... its part of loving someone so much, and the thought of loosing them is overwhelming. .

But you'll always find someone hear to hold your hand and offer a shoulder when you need one ... you can just chat or have a good old rant because we know just how unfare life is .. wer all on our cancer journey s  too or looking after a loved one ... so no matter how you feel, your not alone ...

Have you been in touch with McMillan yet as when my brother in law needed help as he stopped eating and he went from a 15 stone fit man to just bone... they were great and came round twice a day to help... and my sister had someone to chat and answer those questions too ..

Keep in touch and let us know how you are ... big big hug ... Chrissie
