Hi All,
I’ve found myself on this forum as I’m awake at 3am worried about my Mum who has bladder cancer that has spread to lymph nodes and now it looks like it is in her lungs.
She was going to be part of a trial using immunotherapy but we found out she couldn’t get on it because of the lung involvement. This has delayed her start on chemo (gem/cis) which she started a few days ago.
Emotionally she has been really strong but yesterday had a melt down and it’s incredibly hard to watch.
I am really after any tips from people of how to support her best I can. I have other siblings but they are further away so I’m here with her a lot. She doesn’t like being alone I can tell but I’ve got to balance my life to keep strong if that makes sense.
Any tips are much appreciated.
Thanks
Charlotte
