Hi Lynne,
Coping with the loss of a loved one especially during the first year can be very tough as many of our members here know and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice. If you have a look at the coping with loss section of our forum you will find many discussions you can join in on where other members have echoed your own sentiments and understand what you are going through so don't be afraid to reach out to others to help you.
Our thoughts are with you at this time Lynne.
Kind regards,

Hi there lynne ...so sorry you've lost your mum and so quickly .. 7 weeks is hardly time to get your head around it ... the way I coped when my mum went suddenly and it took a fare while to come to terms with it .. but I realised my mum would break her heart to see us all so upset and she would have been the first to tell us to start living life and remember her with a smile and think of all the happy times we had .. so I thought it was time to make her proud and carry on the loving things she did for so many people ...
I still look up in the sky before I sleep to say night night to her , and tell her how her grandsons are doing ... I still have a few tears but then just for a few minutes... make myself picture her smile and remember her laugh ... till I find my self smiling again ... I just believe we were blessed to have had them in our lives .. a saying I love is "don't cry because you loose someone... smile because you were blessed to have had them in your life " ... I'm sure your mum wouldn't want to see you all so sad ... so sending you a big hug ...chrisie xx
