First thing you are not alone because cancer doesnt just affect the person but the whole family too, my husband has lung cancer and was diagnosed about 2 yrs ago. I have feel the same,  I struggle to talk about, even on forums like this, this is my first time doing it so again you are not alone. I'm sending hugs and happy thoughts to you and your family x 

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m really sorry to hear about your husband! It’s reassuring to know i’m Not the only one feeling the way I do! I posted the introduction wondering if I would get a reply from anybody or was it just a black hole of messages! My husband has been quite ill recently which led to an mri that was not scheduled! He was ironically I’ll with something totally unrelated to cancer but the symptoms he suffered warranted a check! It now turns out that since his last mri in Julybthere is change within his tumour so we are off to see the oncologist on Monday to discuss possible treatment! Upto now he has just been watch and wait!!! 

Hi there ... just want to welcome you to our little chat room ... there’s usualy always someone on here who has been where you are now ... the waiting is the hardest part (for me) we have to wait for everything ... but at least you should find out more on your next appointment... like nic says ... your not alone ... and you can help someone on here who is going through the same ... it’s true... it’s good to talk .. the more you do the easier it gets ... we try to keep so much in and find it hard to talk to people close as worried they won’t understand... but a problem shared is a problem halfed so they say ...

Thanks for the message, it’s muxh appreciated! I really am trying this talking thing but am really struggling with it! I’m so used to coping with everything on my own as my family live so far away that talking generally ends up in me getting angry or upset, neither of which my husband needs to see! I am going to try and talk as much as I can!
