I've kust been diagnosed with a twisted bowel with legions. I have been poorly since Xmas and am currently 51/2 stone. My mum has bowel cancer. Is that what I am looking at?? No one seems to tell me anything? X
I am so sorry to hear that both your Mum and you yourself have been blighted with bowel problems. Have you had all the usual tests to diagnose exactly what your problem is and what size your lesions are? The doctors won't be able to tell you anything until they have the results back. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer, the first diagnosed 7 years ago and the second the follwing year.
I now draw up a list of questions before each appointment. I give my husband a duplicate list when we go to my consultation and he writes down the answers. This means that I don't forget to ask pertinent questions and I have the answers to hand. Without this, I found that I forgot a large percentage of answers before I had reached the hospital gates on the way home.
I hope that you get the answers you want soon as there is nothing more stressful than waiting for results.
