Iwas diagnosed with a very rare tumour I had major surgery after surgery I was put forward for a clinical trial was chosen I have been looked after for 9 years with a fab team fromEdinburgh cancer centre .All these years you have worked hard I prove cancer research Is works as I'm still here .

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. Good news is always welcome on this site. We don't hear enough of it!

    I am so glad to hear that your clinical trial has been working so well. It is only twenty years since I lost my Mum to breast cancer metastases. I myself have now had breast cancer for the past 7 years and had a second bout of primary breast cancer the following year. Treatment has improved so much in those 13 years. We are all indebted to Cancer Research.

    I hope that treatment continues to keep you with us.
