Hi was diagnosed with breast cancer early July I've had a lumpectomy and two lymph nodes removed I'm a stage two cancer as it's spread to the nodes , I start radiotherapy on Thursday for 15 days.
I had the same surgery and treatment last year and am doing pretty well so keep with the programme and hopefully it will be the same for you. My operations started on 4/8 (had 3 as needed all lymph nodes removing) and the radiotherapy finished early December. Had my first annual check in June which was clear which helps with confidence that it was all worth it.
Was feeling pretty good by February when I developed lymphoedema in the left quarter of my body which is a challenge to deal with but up until them was progressing really well. Stick with the programme, hopefully the end is in sight.
