acinic cell carcinoma (acc)

hi every one

My father is 72 years old and has faced to  a tumor for about 1 year  that recently is diagnosed as acinic cell carcinoma(but in mandible bone) and it is rare.

i attached his medical history documentation .

 3  jaw surgeons told us to surgery it and 2 oncologists suggested Chemotherapy  and radiotherapy.

I want to know your idea and  about the treatment ?

    I'm sorry to hear about your father's diagnosis; it sounds like a worrying and confusing time for you all. 

    Unfortunately, we can't offer an opinion about the treatment options he has been offered, however, we do have some general information about treatment for salivary gland cancer. It includes a section on treatment decisions, which may be helpful as an overview as to why doctors might suggest surgery, chemotherapy, and / or radiotherapy. 

    I hope that's helpful as a starting point. Perhaps you could go back to your father's medical team with a list of questions you have about his treatment?
