I have the utmost respect for my nurses their knowledge of my condition is spot on and their care is second to none but when it comes to doctors and consultants it's as if as a lay person I know nothing and they are always right. They make decisions about my treatment without my input consultation and truthfully I have absolutely no time for them. I appreciate that they deal with the most heartbreaking cases but there is no empathy understanding of how I feel or my how my family feel and I have decided once chemo completed I will ask for a transfer to another hospital
