Triple negative breast cancer

Hi there

i was diagnosed wit TNBC in June this year, I have undergone breast tissue removal with clear margins and lymph node removal again clear.

I am now on my last week of a 3 week radiotherapy programme. I am looking for any information you would like to share with me to help me move forward.

Thank you for reading my post and hope to hear from you soon

    Hi Felix,

Welcome to Cancer Chat although I’m sorry that you have to join us here.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but glad to discover that you had clear margins after surgery and that your lymph nodes were clear. I have had two bouts of primary breast cancer, but did not have radiotherapy or chemotherapy afterwards. My first bout was 7 years ago and my second was just a year later.

I am afraid that I cannot therefore give you any advice about radiotherapy, but here’s hoping that someone else who has had this experience will come along and help you there.

I would imagine that you will still be in somewhat of a state of shock or even denial if you were only diagnosed in June. How are you coping with the psychological side of things? What sort of support do you have from family and friends? I don’t mean to be nosey, but we all react in different ways to such news and therefore need different types of help to move forward.

There is always someone here to talk to whether it is for information or just to vent your frustrations. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
