My older brother who is my rock has been told this afternoon he has tumours in lungs liver and pancreas. I feel like I'm in a dream world it's so surreal

Hello sorry to hear your news...we've had more or less similar news today too....after 3 months of chemo my partners CT scan has showed disease progression...therefore this chemo has been stopped, for now, and we see the oncologist tomorrow lunchtime to see where we go from here! Scary times but try stay positive
Hello I'm so sorry that's awful news to have. My brother has only been told today they thought he just had blood clot on lung but scans have shown tumours in 3 areas of different organs. They will tell him more tomorrow but the news is not looking hopeful. Cancer is such a cruel disease xx
No he's had pain for couple of weeks lying down but thought it was pulled muscle. He's 56, we've never had cancer in family so no history so completely out of the blue. He doesn't drink or smoke diagnosed diabetic few years ago. I lost an aunt (not blood relative)last year with cancer again out of the blue she was diagnosed 27 Feb passed away 2 months later. Hers was lung cancer but no treatment. 43 is heartbreaking I'm so sorry treatment has not gone to plan, pray they can look at something else. My brother in law is being treated at the moment for leukaemia he is doing better than they expected after they said it was aggressive they changed chemo and he's waiting for stem cell transplant.
