I had right upper lung removed in Dec of 2016. Had biopsy done and a week later was getting my operation. It happened so fast I had no time to think about it. I struggled with pain numbness, etc etc. It felt like my right breast was wedged under my ribcage. My surgeon told me that it was because someting has to fill that space inside where the lung was removed and everything was moving up. He showed me xrays and I could clearly see that bones on my right were higher. I understood the pain I was having with the pushing under my breast and that steel plate feeling when turning ar bending just a bit.It has been seven months on the 19th and I will have my 3rd scan in a bit over a week. The numbness , itching and tingling will be with me for a long while. I can tolerate that as the only medication I was given on discharge was tramadol and tylenol with codiene. Yes I went braless! couldn't stand for even the slightest bit of pressure anywhere on right side. I put a tanktop under my shirts to go to store etc. Next I got a lyrca camosole and I still use that. Bras are too uncomfortable for me still.
I am praying to God that it does not resurface and that in the near future we will all be cancer free
Viver-Lots of hugs
