This is a very brave stance.

Have you spoken about any treatment plan or discussed options? I have a plethora of medical complications as well having had two bouts of primary breast cancer. I refused radiotherapy and only took hormone therapy by way of treatment. I had Tamoxifen the first year and had to change to Letrozole after I developed a second primary cancer a year later. I had a lumpectomy the first time and a double mastectomy the second.

I have just finished this treatment after 6 years. I must confess that it has caused my arthritis to flare up, but, given the opportunity again, I would still do the same.

Did you have any adverse effects to treatment last year and if so, what treatment did you have? Would you not try hormone therapy before you make such a momentous decision? You can always stop taking it, if it causes further problems with your Fibromyalgia.

We are all scared when given a cancer diagnosis, and, in refusing treatment I imagine that you will remain scared. If you try treatment first, you always have the chance of stopping the cancer in its tracks and will end up with a more positive outlook.

You say that you cannot seem to get help - what type of help are you looking for? I'm sure that someone can point you in the right direction if we know exactly what you need.
