I'm Maz I'm new to all this too..I had a lumpectomy and lymph node op on the 20th June...I go back tomorrow to find out what it is and treatment plan...I am terrified...do you have a treatment plan yet ?.xx
I had lumpectomy on 24th may and three nodes removed two days ago I go back on 19th to discuss results of biopsy of nodes but have been told I will need radiotherapy and then tamoxifen still waiting on some results
how are you feeling now my emotions were everywhere yesterday but feel ok again now.
Hi I'm new to this to I have had my surgery and removed a germ cell and on observation for now just wanted to speak to people as I am currently feeling depressed.
Hi...well not really sure how I feel atm.....Stunned!....my lump was grade 3 with DCIS...all removed with clear margins nothing in lymph nodes...so that was good news ..bad news was grade 3 aggressive..they offered chemo' if I wanted'...definitely got to have radiotherapy followed by tamoxifen 5-10 years..I'm having this oncotype DX test done to see if chemo will be beneficial...it's a test I asked for they wasn't happy but it's available so I asked...hope you're well....
