It is understandable that you are feeling the way you are right now with so much going on with your mum and having to deal with your other family but try not to allow negative feelings to get the best of you.

Many of our members here on Cancer Chat will understand what you are going through so I hope they will come along soon to offer their advice and support.

And if there are medical related questions you would like to ask our cancer nurses please know they are just a phone call away on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9 a.m - 5 p.m.

  • Hi Sunny,

I'm sorry to hear about your mum! I hope she is doing well and being strong.. just like my mum :(

she was diagnosed last Thursday with breast cancer and I can defiantly relate to how you are feeling... it's horrible and especially someone like your mum having it is a horrible horrible feeling! You just want to help them and take the pain away but you can't... my mum is having her breast removed next Thursday but doesn't no yet if she will need chemo or radiotherapy until the op is done... mum also has stage 2 cancer and couldn't be cut out. Do you mind telling me did your mum have her breast removed?

    Kind regards

    Chloe

  • Hi Chloe

How is your mum doing?? What treatment if any is she having??

I hope she is doing well.

It's been a tough year for me but my mum's cancer is secondary literally spreading everywhere. It's a horrible disease and I cont believe it's taking my mum away.

Best thing you can do is be positive and make every moment count xxx
