I have type 2 Diabetes too and have been told this in the past. I have also been told the same about high blood pressure. However, so far I haven’t had any surgery cancelled as a result of high blood sugar or hypertension. This will usually be sorted out at your pre-med, but you could also discuss this with your plastic surgeon next week.

I hope that you won’t suffer any delays and that it won’t be long until you can get your melanoma removed.
