Hi Marathon1, my surgery for bowel cancer was scheduled for April 6,and was cancelled on the way to surgery--no HDU beds! Was devastated as I had to wait 3 weeks, and was terrified something else would stop it. Luckily my op on April 27 went ahead ( only found out for sure at 9 am)So busy chatting it all went off in a rush. Extremely successful and I have recovered well. I too have been on an emotional rollercoaster! Very good result, no lymph nodes involved, but a few veins were, so need chemo. Still a good result and I feel fortunate. Good luck, I know it is easy to keep thinking it is coming back, only natural. That feeling lessens over time. X
