Just Diagnosed and don't know what to do

Hi, my name is debbie I'm 33 and was diagnosed with cervical cancer last week. I'm scared, worried and don't know how to stop crying.

i have a ct scan booked on the 19th may and Mri on the 23rd. I'm scared these tests are too far away and I'm going to be a complete wreck waiting!

 

i just need someone to tell me I will be ok

    Hello, Debbie, I know this is easier said than done but you shouldn't worry until your complete prognosis arrives. With severe cases, they urge the patients to be booked in straight away (with my father, they had full body scans done within 2 days. When my auntie had a scare, they left the option up to her as long as it was done within the month. Your diagnosis doesn't automatically mean you are stage III+, my dear! It will be a hard journey from here, given, but it is an incredibly quick one and will be over before you know it. I'm sure that's one thing everybody who has had a fight with cancer and is now in remission will say. Please stay positive. Please have a support network. Love, Domonique xx

    Hello Debbie, I am so sorry for that, be strong and trust God! He healed my mom and even doctors had no answers about what happened but she is totally fine now!

    Hi Debbie, I'm so sorry to hear your news. I was also diagnosed with cervical cancer 2/3 weeks ago. I have had 2 CT scans so far and expecting to start chemo and radiotherapy at the end of may. Totally understand what you mean about the crying, I'm the same. I think the hospital staff will be fed up with me! Best of luck with your treatment, you are not alone xx

    Hi Debbie

    My name is Jo. I had a huge ovarian cyst removed 3 weeks ago, major surgery and today the biopsy results are back, I have clear cell ovarian cancer which I understand is aggressive. In the next few weeks I will start chemo. It's a daunting place to be. I would love to offer some profound words of comfort to you; all I can say is that you're not alone in what you are going through. The lady in the bed next to me in hospital had just had surgery for cervical cancer and (it being a small 4 bed unit) it was difficult not to overhear her surgeon talk with her. He was so positive talking about what a long way treatments and surgery have come and how prognosis are much better than they were even 10 years ago. I wish you all the best hunnie x

    Hi Debbie my name is Sharon i was diagnosed with womb cancer at the age of 22 at the time the only treatment for me was a hysterectomy which i had , the lady in the bed next to me had ovarian cancer she was 36 she too had to have a hysterectomy, treatment is much more advanced now and im sure you will be fine just stay positive. I am still in touch with the lady i met in hospital and meet up every now and again, I turn 54 this yr and she turns 69 so try not to worry it can be beaten stay strong x

    i am from Romania and i am suspect of stomach cancer but the biopsy come in 4 weeks 

    i am destroyed mental , how do u fell mental Debz ?

    Hi Sharon I have just been diagnosed with womb cancer and waiting on ct scan results see if anywhere else I am not copying very well as only 33 and not had any family any help or advice I would be grateful
