Hello,I'm looking after my mother, age 72,who is near the end of her life with metastatic lung cancer. We have only known about this since march 21st 2017 when mum was rushed to hospital after a fall....now she has been at home, bed bound,on palliative care since April 10th. Her cancer has crippled my mum really quickly...she cannot eat now and barely sips water...and of course sleeps a lot. I've barely had time to get my head round it....I'm her only child, the funeral is not arranged, there is a will, but the solicitor it was filed with is no longer there,I do have a copy though. I'm panicking, as I have no idea how to pay her bills, and she has forgotten all her financing.... she used to be a finance officer too! The St Christopher nurses haven't been helpful...I get carers 4 times a day...who are fantastic....but can't help with the financial/funeral side of things. Thanks for listening!
