Hi annie x hope your doing ok. I'm newly diagnosed too, chemo first for me and then lumpectomy (hopefully) then radio therapy. I must admit the waiting is awful but I'm sure you,ve had as many appointments as me, which keep you busy. I just keep thinking.. This is only a small moment in my life.. Just to let you know I am back home, minus my left breast and managing to do more for myself than I dared hope. Results for me on 4 May and plan for way forward. Everyone at hospital very caring and I am managing toshower and wash hair daily (a blessing). How's things for you? Sending hugs Anniex
Hi annie xx aww so glad your home. Sounds like your doing great xxx hopefully things will get easier as every day passes. I start chemo today, not slept hence me typing this as stupid o,clock. Had my hair cut off yesterday.. Been fretting about it since I was diagnosed.. Which I done it sooner lol. Sending hugs for your speedy recovery xxx lynn xxxx
Good Luck today Lynn with your 1st chemo. Thinking of you. I had my hair cut ultra-short before I had the op. Funny how we worry about our hair as much as everything else. Next step for me is 4 May to get dressing removed, pathology report and forward plan. Keep in touch. Love and hugs Annie xxxx
