Oral Cancer - Tongue

Good afternoon.  I am a 61 yr old woman that was diagnosed with oral cancer - tumor in my tongue.  I under went over 10 hrs of surgery on 5/23/15.  Once I recovered somewhat from that I started radiation - 6 weeks/5 days a week.  That was gruesome and in conjunction with the surgery - all did one heck of a number on me emotionally, financially, physically.  2016 was needless to say TOUGH.  I go back in for a flap reduction/debulking on Monday, April 10th.

  • Hello vatch. Thank you so much for the response. I will most definitely reach out to Nicola using the link you provided. Having surgery Monday for my Flap reduction/debulking. I so hate the thought of going back to the hospital for surgery. Gives me the eebie geebies for sure. If all goes as planned - this will be an outpatient procedure. Have a great weekend. :)
