Hi, my husband had a full nephrectomy almost nine weeks ago. He had a return appointment with his consultant last week. His dedicated consultant was called away and he had a short meeting with another doctor. We were told op went well He has been referred now for a ct scan. The imaging dept has said that this would take four to six weeks. He has secondary kidney cancer in his lung. I am worried that he has to wait so long for treatment to start.
