What a fantastic positive person you sound.  I have now been diagnosed with Stage 4 in a lung but hope my oncologist can produce a cocktail of drugs to keep me going and going.  Good luck to us both I say!

Thank you for your replies. The one piece of positive advice I can give anyone who has just been diagnosed with cancer is, once the shock has worn off, don't be frightened, don't waste your energy! Turn that feeling on its head and BE POSITIVE! Being positive has kept me alive. When I was first diagnosed 32 years ago, the word cancer was more akin to a death sentence than today, research has come on in leaps and bounds since then so put your armour on and go to war, at least you have more 'weapons' at your disposal today than I did, learning to use them is paramount. Go for it! Good luck!
