I'm really sorry to hear about your diagnosis but it's great you have such a close support network around you to help you at this time. It's great you've joined as many members here have also been diagnosed with lung cancer and will understand the need of being able to talk to others in the same situation and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and share their experiences with you. In the meantime do have a look around and if you use the 'search forum' option you'll be able to find previous discussions about lung cancer and chat to members there as well.

I hope you don't have to wait too long for your appointment with a counsellor and that it goes well when the time comes. Whilst you're waiting, post here as much as you like and remember that everyone here understands what you are feeling and going through right now.
