Skin cancer

I was diagnosed over a year ago with melanoma and have since had 16biopsy surgeries and counting. I know I'm lucky as so far always caught early enough and not needing deeper treatments but I still feel at times I am struggling. Every other biopsy has came back pre cancerous.

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat glittergirl although I'm sorry for the reason it brings you here.

It's completely natural to have these thoughts and feelings after going through so many biopsy surgeries but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Many members here have been in a similar position and hopefully they will be along soon to offer their support and advice. Have you discussed this with your GP at all? They may be able to help and possibly point you in the direct of counselling if you feel like you need to talk to someone about what you are going through. We have some information about it on our website here if you would like to find out more about it as well.

    Kind Regards,
