My name is Kirsty. I am 27 years old. I live in Scotland with my 36 year old husband & our 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier. My husband was diagnosed in July 2015 with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia after 6 courses of Chemotherapy he went into remission in April 2016 but we found out on Feb 2017 that it is back. He has been offered a trial called Clarity. We are also going through our 3rd course of IVF. We always look at the positives and know if we have each other we can get through anything. I am glad to be able to chat with people going through the same as myself and my husband.

    Thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry to hear that your husband's leukaemia is back after a period of remission. I hope the trial works well for him. You do seem like a very loving couple and I love your profile picture - it looks like it was a beautiful Scottish wedding!

    Keeping everything crossed for your third course of IVF and it's so beautiful what you say, that having each other is a source of strength in itself.

    I hope some of our members will be along soon who can relate to what you are both going through and that they will come and share their own story with you.

    Thank you so much for your kind message. My husband and I got married Sept 2015 when my husband was ill the last time. Just before his chemo started. We are each other's rock and always will be. We also have the support of our family and friends. It's amazing how many people share their story when they have or are going through the same. Also this site is wonderful feel like it's a place to escape and chat with people in similar situations. There seems to be a lot of support here. So glad I came across this site.
