Hi there

i am now 2.5 years post treatment for throat cancer

the tiredness will hang around for a longtime yet, just enjoy sleeping

it becomes easier to swallow but some foods will be off the menu

say goodbye to sandwhiches and hello to wraps

some will have problems with citrus and spicy foods in the early days ... it gets better though

I wrote a blog all the way through mine .... it acts more like a diary for me now but has helped many all over the world go through this process

hang in there with your mum it takes a good 6 months to feel semi normal again, but it could take a while to get back to a new level of what's normal

everyone goes through this treatment differently, but as you know it's one hell of a treatment, so I hope all goes well on the 17th
