Hi everybody my husband has just been diagnosed with secondary lung and bone cancer. Feeling terrified doesn't come close to my true feelings.
Trying to stay positive is so important but so hard too.

Hi Deedles, I noticed you'd not received a reply yet, so I just wanted to pop on to welcome you to the Cancer Chat forum. I'm sorry to hear of your husband's recent secondary cancer diagnosis - what an incredibly tough time for you both.
You'll find there are other people here who are going through similar experiences, and will be able to empathise entirely with the feelings you describe. I spotted a new member [@Paula15]posted recently about her husband's stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis, which has spread: Introducing myself, and wondered if you would like to join the discussion there. It can help to know there are others in the same boat, too, I think.
I'm also providing a link to our information on Coping emotionally, which I hope is of interest.
Please feel free to keep talking here - it's a safe space to share your feelings. We're thinking of you.
Best wishes,
Helen
