My 84yr old mum has bowel cancer. 3.7cm stage 1. She is well, has no symptoms, but has to decide whether to have surgery or not
Not sure what to do, anybody experienced this with an elderly parent ?

My auntie who was 84 had bowel cancer and had an op - she then had a bag for a short time and another op to take off the bag . All in all this lasted six months and then she had radiotherapy . She was just like a 40 yr old ( probably less wingy) and now is back swimming and going to her ladies groups and totally disease free .
